AAPG 2014
The hydrocarbon sector in Mozambique has been experiencing major developments in recent years with recent world-class discoveries in the Rovuma Basin, which has been causing a great willingness on the part of the companies operating in this sector.
Allied to this fact the upcoming fifth bidding round for allocation of areas for hydrocarbons research has been dominating the attention of several quadrants in the sphere of oil industry.
In this context the INP attended the AAPG 2014 event that took place from 6 to 9 April 2014, in Houston with the purpose of showing the latest developments also regarding the hydrocarbons exploration and production activities in Mozambique, as well as the exchange of experience with the participants of other countries.
