The hydrocarbon sector in Mozambique has been experiencing major developments in recent years with recent world-class discoveries in the Rovuma Basin, which has been causing a great willingness on the part of the companies operating in this sector.

Allied to this fact the upcoming fifth bidding round for allocation of areas for hydrocarbons research has been dominating the attention of several quadrants in the sphere of oil industry.

This conference, held from 26 to 29 November 2013 aims to enable African countries to debate, expose their hydrocarbon potential, as is the case of Mozambique, offer and sell services as well as attracting investments leading to development of oil industry
