Coral Sul FLNG Project

The Coral Sul FLNG project, differently from Golfinho/Atum, will be developed through a floating natural gas production and liquefied infrastructure (Floating Liquified Natural Gas), located in deep water (offshore), more than 50 km from continental Cabo Delgado. The floating platform is being built in South Korea and in other parts of the world, meaning a reduced workforce requirement compared to the Golfinho/Atum. In fact, around 858 new direct, indirect and induced jobs will be created during the life cycle of the project.

In terms of direct hiring, Eni Rovuma Basin and Coral FLNG will generate 386 direct jobs, 90% of which are national, representing a total of 350 Mozambicans. Currently, the total workforce of the project including its contractors and subcontractors is 820 jobs compared to the 922 jobs assumed by the project when the Development Plan was submitted.
